Payday supports many causes in the community.  Perhaps none more important than the education of our youth.  Payday president Danny Kline works with administration of College Park Elementary through their Partner in Education program.  This program gives local businesses the opportunity to work with a school of their choosing to provide support in any number of ways.

For Danny it was a no brainer.  Payday’s office is located in College Park and that is the neighborhood where he was raised.  As a child he attended College Park Elementary and reached out to them a few years ago to get involved.  Through the years Payday has provided school supplies, sponsored and presented at career day and helped provide awards and incentives for teachers.  Perhaps most satisfying has been the programs to reward and promote the young boys and girls that have shown exemplary improvements in their grades, leadership and social skills.  This has included sponsoring a night out to a show at Sandler Center, the movies and recognizing these model students at graduation, presenting them certificates of achievement (and gift certificates!)

Danny was honored and humbled to be recognized as the College Park Elementary Partner in Education of the Year.  If you’re are interested in find out how your business can get involved, please visit your city public schools website and look for the volunteers/partners section under community.
