The Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Virginia paraded a bevy of deserving candidates on stage to stake their claim for the 2015 Youth of the Year. After an evening filled with unbelievable entertainment, including an earth shattering performance by the nationally recognized KAOSS Step Team, Alicia Jackson was announced as the 2015 Youth of the Year.
A 17 year old attending King’s Fork High School in Suffolk, this dynamic young lady has already been accepted to New York’s prestigious Culinary Institute of America to pursue her dream of becoming a chef and owning her own restaurant. Sound impressive? Of course it does! This is the type of person that emerges from the Boys and Girls Club programs. The dedicated teachers, counselors, volunteers and staff at Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Virginia dedicate themselves to helping our youth reach their fullest potential. Payday Payroll is proud to support them in this endeavor and challenge our friends and clients to get involved as well.
