About Payday

Grounded. Humble. Committed.

How we got here and where we’re going

In early 2010, Dave Fried and Danny Kline met at an industry conference and immediately became friends. Dave was leading TricoreHCM, one of the most recognized human capital management firms in the mid-Atlantic. Danny was running Payday Payroll, one of the nation’s most respected independent payroll providers. Over the years, Dave and Danny found synergies within each others’ companies, and it wasn’t long before their teams were working together daily.

Dave and Danny’s vision, ethics, and respective businesses seamlessly aligned, driving mutual growth and resounding client success.

The natural next step was clear: a merger.

In early 2020, the two brands united under the Payday name to offer a comprehensive suite of services to their clients.

Today, under Danny and Dave’s stewardship, the company is focused on the future, attracting outstanding talent, thoughtfully growing the firm and developing new strategies and product offerings for tomorrow’s modern businesses.

Invested in the People and Places We Serve

At the end of the day, Payday is about people. We exist to contribute to the happiness and security of your employees and their families. That’s why we are passionate about giving back. Payday cares, and our team members are always willing to roll up their sleeves and help make our communities a better place to live and work. Payday is passionate about our mission of service, and it shows.

What matters most to me is that my employees are taken care of. The Payday Benefits team has always been there to help, and not just at open enrollment.
