YWCA Honors Local Women at Annual Gala

When the 11 honorees for the 26th Annual Women of Distinction Awards took the stage in March, there was nothing to do but stand in awe. What an impressive collection of successful women truly worthy of their nominations.

From high-powered executives to passionate volunteers, the stage overflowed with women of tremendous influence in Hampton Roads.

While proud of all the honorees, it’s with obvious bias that the Payday Payroll team was MOST excited for Dr. Lisbet Hanson of Virginia Beach OBGYN, a division of Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care (and longtime Payday client).

The YWCA of South Hampton Roads recognized Dr. Hanson for her outstanding and revolutionary work, particularly with robotic surgery.
