In 2003, Payday Payroll was the first independent payroll service bureau in the country to submit to the new SAS-70 audit. This audit of our controls and procedures was performed to assure that our client’s confidential data and money was handled in a tightly controlled environment with both security and redundancy.
July of 2011, the SAS-70 audit was replaced by a more stringent SSAE-16 audit of systems and controls. This audit delves deeper into the day to day operations of financial service organizations. Again, Payday Payroll was the first privately held payroll service bureau in the country to submit itself to the audit. We are proud to be the leader of the independent payroll service industry in our transparency and integrity.
