On April 17th one of Payday Payroll’s original Florida clients, Joe Eppy, was honored as the Samuel M. & Helene Soref Jewish Community Center 2016 Humanitarian of the Year. Proceeds from the event support both WECARE food pantry and scholarship programs for children from less fortunate families, so they can attend JCC’s preschool, after school and summer camp programs. These programs are all inclusive and provide assistance to all children, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
As the president of the financial firm The Eppy Group, Joe Eppy has been an active member of the community for over 20 years. Eppy is the current president of the constituency board of the Florida Atlantic University – Center for Autism and Related Disabilities and is a board member of the Unicorn Children’s Foundation as well as the Season’s Hospice board and the Nova Southeastern University Ambassadors Board. We are proud to be able to participate in this honor for Joe who has made giving back a core component of The Eppy Group, providing such a positive impact in the South Florida Community.
